DISINFECTING AND STERILIZING TABLETS WITH NEUTRALIZER

How to use. Disinfection / Sterilization.
Dissolve BRIT-STER "FERDOM-FERPRO"® in warm water (higher temperature increases the activity of the preparation). About 1 liter of water for 1-2 tablets. Use a plastic container.

- Air conditioning installationsetc. according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
- DHW storage heaters: Depending on the size of the tank, throw in the appropriate number of tablets or pour in the solution. Turn on the water heating, leave in the device for about 1 hour. Do not use hot water receivers until the disinfection process is complete. Rinse well, neutralize.
Note: It is recommended to clean the fittings from mineral deposits using the FERDOM FERPRO DS-30 preparation, this way you will remove the breeding ground for bacteria, algae, etc.
- DHW installationsIf a DHW tank is installed, pour the BRIT-STER solution into the tank and every 10 minutes turn on each tap and drain about a liter of water. If there is no tank in the installation, it should be flushed using the FERPRO Cleaning Pump. You can also make a container yourself from a plastic bucket and a hose connected to the DHW system supply, pour the solution into it and then drain the water from the taps as described above. Rinse well, neutralize.
It is recommended to clean the fittings beforehand - see above.
-CO installations. especially with underfloor heating. If a dispenser is installed in the system. Pour the solution into the dispenser and introduce it into the central heating system. If there is no dispenser, introduce the solution into the system through the radiator vent, using e.g. a funnel/hose set. Top up the water in the system, check that all valves are open, turn on the circulation pump and ensure circulation to every part of the system. If it is possible to heat the water in the system slightly with a boiler (no more than approx. 40%C). Drain the system after approx. 30-60 min. Rinse/neutralize thoroughly.
It is recommended to clean the installation from mineral deposits andand then protect the installation with an inhibitor - using FERDOM FERPRO preparations.Readhere.
- Hot tubs, sinksetc. : Throw the tablet into about 20-25 liters of hot water in the bathtub. Leave for 1 hour. Hot tubs - turn on the circulation for a while.
- Toilet bowls- throw 1 tablet into the toilet bowl, rinse with water after 1 hour. Does not require the use of a neutralizer.
- Wells, water intakes- according to local conditions

- Neutralization:
After cleaning, use the enclosed neutralizer in the proportion of 1 tablet = 2 grams. Dissolve the neutralizer in hot water. Use approximately the same amount of water as before. Wait about 30 minutes and pour the water into the sewage system. Drain the water from the lowest point.
Rinse the system thoroughly several times with tap water until the odor disappears.

General use:
Regulations in many European countries require regular cleaning and sterilization of domestic hot water and air conditioning systems to prevent bacterial contamination, which can become a major problem. The most well-known cases are legionellosis epidemics.
Preparations containing chlorine and its derivatives are considered the most effective in destroying bacteria and viruses in water systems. BRIT-STER tablets are a safe agent containing chlorine, enabling precise dosing, even by non-experts.

BRIT-STER and preparations with sodium hypochlorite
-BRIT-STER tablets dissolve quickly when added to water, have a much stronger biocidal effect than sodium hypochlorite or similar substances (various cleaning and bleaching preparations), but at the same time they are much less corrosive (see table).
-Sodium hypochlorite solutions degrade over time and lose their potency under certain conditions.
-Sodium hypochlorite solutions are hazardous (corrosive) in case of contact with skin or eyes.
-They are difficult to store and their tanks should have vents.
-Sodium hypochlorite concentrations vary, making it difficult to accurately dose the active chlorine level

Protection of persons/caution when using:
Irritant to eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Respiratory protection: Avoid inhaling dust. Hand protection: Wear protective clothing and rubber gloves. Eye protection: Wear goggles and a face mask.

If the central heating water smells rotten, there is sediment floating on the surface and it is greenish, you should:

1) Drain the water from the central heating system

2) Rinse well with tap water - i.e. close all valves on the manifold/radiators.
Turn on the water - open/close one section/radiator at a time until the water flows out clean.

3) If there is no need for chemical cleaning - (relatively new installation, no deposits) - fill with water and BRITSTER preparation

4) Turn on the pump, heat it up a bit to about 40 degrees C. Open/close one section/radiator at a time for about 5 minutes.
Keep the distributed solution for half an hour. Pour in the neutralizer (included) and distribute it over the installation for about 5 minutes. Turn the pump back on. Drain the water.

5) Again: Rinse thoroughly with tap water - i.e. close all valves on the distributor/radiators. Turn on the water - open one section/radiator at a time until the water flows out clean.

6) Fill with water and CH-2 preparation

7)AttentionThis treatment is only effective if there are no mineral deposits in the system. Bacteria, algae, etc. that have their habitats there will regenerate, even after rinsing out BRITSTER.
