Mechanical cleaning is the quickest and most effective way to clean sludge and corrosion residue from central heating systems, using a high flow of water to loosen and ultimately expel the residue, usually containing large amounts of black iron oxide, from the system.

Clean water is pushed through the system, pushing the contaminants ahead, and this continues until the discharge water finally becomes clean. This can take a considerable amount of time.

The CombiMag has been developed to quickly and simply remove the contaminant of circulating black iron oxide from the flushing water, using the power of a magnet to attract magnetic oxides.

The CombiMag filter is simply installed in line with any power flushing pump/pump. The design directs contaminated water through a powerful magnetic field so that even the smallest particles are retained on the central magnet, from which they can be easily cleaned during and after the rinsing process. Larger particles, which can otherwise lead to clogged pipes with small openings, also cannot re-enter the heating system.
