Application of ELES-FIX:
In central heating systems, cooling systems, solar systems, heat pumps, etc. Anywhere where it is not possible to examine the exact place of leakage, where access is difficult or where other means of repair would involve high costs.
The most common application is in underfloor heating systems made of copper or plastic. Over time, the solder used in fittings for copper pipes becomes porous, leading to micro leaks. Also compression or welded fittings (PEX or PP pipes) may leak due to the continuous operation of the pipes and system (effect of temperature on thermal expansion).
ELES-FIX (LS-1) "FERDOM" ^® is an "intelligent" preparation, it does not "seal" the entire installation.
Its action is based on increasing the surface tension of the water in the system. This action is permanent when ELES-FIX is in the system, and is further enhanced by the tendency for deposits etc. to accumulate in these areas, which further "seal " leaks.
The sealing efficiency of ELES-FIX(LS-1) "FERDOM"^® " FERPRO"^® is limited in order to prevent clogging of safety devices, vents, pumps etc. Therefore, complete sealing of all types and sizes of leaks cannot be guaranteed. The product cannot seal mechanically damaged installations, e.g. accidental drilling through the system pipe, etc.
During sealing, the pressure in the installation should be reduced to the minimum level at which the boiler can operate, and the temperature in the installation should be kept as low as possible. Sealing of the system should take place within 1 to 7 days. The product is neutralised in the system. There is no need to rinse the system after its use. If the system is not sealed, the whole process can be repeated.

Method of introducing the preparation into the central heating system.
It is most convenient to add the preparation when filling the system. Otherwise;
a) Pressurised / closed system. Simplest way; Switch off the system, cool down. Select the radiator with the highest position in the system. Drain several litres of water from the system so that this radiator is emptied / partially emptied. Remove the air vent (all the way) or the radiator top cap. Pour in the product using a funnel (alternatively use a garden hose). Screw in the breather/vent plug, add water, switch on the system. The central heating pump will distribute the preparation in the system.
b) Open system with expansion vessel: Drain some water from the system, pour the preparation into the expansion vessel, make up the water shortage. Switch on the system.
c ) Inject the preparation in the tube into the system using the supplied adaptor and silicone gun.
