FD095 FERMAG x3units 3/4" Magnetic-Separator Filter for CH 28kW with Wall Boilers. 9000Gs Megnetizer
- Water inlets arranged at an angle of 90 degrees. A typical arrangement for connecting a wall hung boiler to the central heating system. A total of 4 options for connecting the filter to the system - two at an angle of 90 degrees, two at an angle of 180 degrees.
- Magnetic impurities are trapped by a strong neodymium magnet with a power of 9 000Gs and a magnet surface area of 40cm2. Such impurities may cause pumps and valves to seize, reduce heat transfer through radiators
- Non-magnetic impurities are trapped by an effective stainless steel mesh filter with 500 microns and 60cm2 surface area. This type of impurities (mineral deposits) block heat exchangers, clog pipes and reduce system efficiency.
- FD090 filter has a very durable polyamide PA66 GF30 housing, metal lid and magnet sleeve. Most central heating boiler manufacturers recommend installing the magnetic filter with a new central heating boiler.
- Recommended application for domestic central heating systems Recommended application for domestic central heating systems with a wall-hung boiler - thanks to the construction and functions of the filter and its small size. Can also be used for solar systems, HVAC.
FERMAG FD090 Magnetic separator filter for domestic central heating systems with wall hung boilers Magnetic separator for central heating system with wall-hung boiler. 3/4". FERDOM Magnetizer.
- Most currently manufactured boilers, in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency have very narrow water channels.
- Thanks to the application of the FERMAG FD090 filter, maintenance costs and the cost of spare parts are reduced by fewer failures.
- Most European manufacturers of central heating boilers now recommend the installation of the Magnetic Filter together with a new central heating boiler.
- To increase the efficiency of the magnetic filter we recommend the use of Filter Fluid FD678 penetrating fluid.
Installation and operation
- The filter should be installed under the boiler on the return.
- The cyclic cleaning process of the filter (at least once a year) consists in:
(a) Switching off the boiler, closing the filter valve (on the return) and the valve on the boiler supply.
c) Removing the magnet from the chamber - magnetic deposits fall into the casing.
d) Unscrewing and removing the magnet lid and sleeve together with the mesh filter.
e) Thoroughly wash the filter and remove sediment and deposits.
d) Once the cleaning is complete, follow the steps in reverse order.
f) Finally, check the tightness of the cover and vent the filter. and failure of the boiler not covered by the warranty service.

WHY SHOULD I INSTALL THE MAGNETIC FILTER?
Central heating radiators they are usually made of carbon steel, which is highly susceptible to corrosion. Steel pipes or cast iron radiators may also be present in the installation.
Black magnetite is formed, which has a magnetic character and can therefore be captured with a magnet.
If the magnetic filter does not collect these particles, they will go to the next device with electromagnetic properties; such as a circulation pump and will cause premature wear. They also get into other system components such as valves, heat exchangers, etc., causing them to clog and reduce the efficiency of the entire system.
An additional built-in device function is a non-magnetic dirt separator. Contaminants of this type (so-called boiler scale) block heat exchangers, lead to boiler overheating, clog pipes, etc.
