FD168 Neutraliser with 100 GRAM + 200 GRAM NEUTRALIZER SOLUTION.
MAIN FEATURES OF THE FD168
-The device effectively neutralises condensate / condensate from condensing boilers.
-Suitable for all types of gas condensing boilers up to 35 kW
-Does not interfere with boiler operation or condensate drainage from the boiler.
-Small in size; height 130 mm, can be mounted vertically or horizontally
-Easily replaceable cartridges at least once a year
-Does not restrict condensate or air flow and is therefore compatible with both continuous and intermittent condensate drainage modes.
Installation and operation:
-FD168 mounts on the condensate / condensate drainage pipe of the boiler, protecting the environment and sewage systems.
-FD168 uses a special substance in the form of oxide based beads (shaped like balls).
-FD168 can be installed under the boiler both vertically and horizontally. For this purpose 3 connections are included.
-Can be used with all brands of condensing boilers - free standing or wall hung models.

Why install a condensate neutraliser for condensing boilers?
In condensing boilers, high efficiency is achieved by using the waste heat from the hot flue gases to pre-heat the water in the boiler, rather than just discharging it through the flue. However, this cools the flue gases and creates acidic condensate.
The average domestic condensing boiler can produce over 1,000 litres of acid per year at a pH of around 3.5 which adds up to millions of litres of acid produced in each country.
Current guidelines in many countries require waste water to be discharged into municipal sewers and watercourses at a minimum pH of 4.5 (the pH level of acid rain). It is therefore good practice to neutralise it to avoid contamination and corrosion of materials. Using the FD168 neutralises the acidic condensate without harming the installation or the environment.
This is to protect the micro-organisms used in biological treatment processes in the septic tank or local water treatment plant, to reduce damage to the sewerage infrastructure and to help protect the environment as a whole.
