After cleaning, use the supplied (in packs of 20, 60, 200) neutraliser in the proportion of 2 grams - 1 tablet.

Directions for use. Disinfection / Sterilisation.
Dissolve BRIT-STER "FERDOM-FERPRO"® in warm water (increased temperature increases the activity of the preparation). Approximately 1 litre of water for 1-2 tablets. Use a plastic container.

- Air-conditioning systems, etc. according to manufacturer's recommendations.
- DHW heaters: Depending on the size of the tank, drop in the appropriate number of tablets or pour in the solution. Turn on the water heater, leave in the device for about 1 hour, do not use hot water until the decontamination process is finished. Rinse well, neutralise.
Note: It is recommended to clean the fittings from mineral deposits beforehand using the FERDOM FERPRO DS-30 preparation, thus removing the habitat of bacteria, algae etc.
- If a DHW cylinder is installed, pour the BRIT-STER solution into the cylinder and every 10 minutes turn on each tap and drain approx. one litre of water. If the system does not have a tank, it should be flushed out using the FERPRO Cleaning Pump. You can also make your own container out of a plastic bucket and a hose connected to the hot water supply, pour the solution into it and then drain the taps as specified above. Rinse well, neutralise.

-Central heating installations, especially with underfloor heating. If a dispenser is installed in the system. Pour the solution into the dispenser and inject into the central heating system. If no dispenser is fitted, feed the solution into the system via the radiator air vent using a funnel/hose set, for example. Top up with water, check that all valves are open, turn on the circulation pump and ensure circulation to every part of the system. If possible, heat up the sump water a little with the boiler (not more than approx. 40% C). Drain the system after approx. 30-60 minutes. Rinse/neutralise well.
It is recommended to clean the installation of mineral and corrosion deposits beforehand and then to protect the installation with an inhibitor - using FERDOM FERPRO preparations. Read here.
- Whirlpool bathtubs, sinks, etc : Drop a tablet into approx. 20-25 litres of hot bath water. Leave for 1 hour. Whirlpool baths - turn on the circulation for a while.
- Toilet bowls - drop 1 tablet into the bowl, rinse with water after 1 hour. No need for a neutralizer.
- Wells, water outlets - according to local conditions

- Neutralisation:
After cleaning, use the included neutraliser at a ratio of 1 tablet = 2 grams. Dissolve the neutraliser in hot water. Use approximately the same amount of water as before. Wait approximately 30 minutes and pour the water down the drain. Drain the water from the lowest point.
Flush the system thoroughly several times with tap water until the odour disappears.

General use:
Regulations in many European countries require regular cleaning and sterilisation of DHW and air conditioning systems to prevent bacterial contamination, which can become a major problem. The most notorious cases are outbreaks of legionellosis.
Preparations containing chlorine and its derivatives are recognised as the most effective in destroying bacteria and viruses in water systems. BRIT-STER tablets are a safe chlorine-containing agent which allows accurate dosing, even by non-experts.

BRIT-STER vs sodium hypochlorite preparations
-BRIT-STER tablets dissolve quickly when added to water and have a much stronger biocide effect than sodium hypochlorite or similar (various cleaning and bleaching preparations), but at the same time they are much less corrosive (see table).
-Sodium hypochlorite solutions degrade over time and lose their potency under certain conditions.
-Sodium hypochlorite solutions are dangerous (corrosive) when in contact with skin or eyes.
-Sodium hypochlorite solutions are dangerous (corrosive) if they come into contact with the skin or eyes.
-Sodium hypochlorite concentrations vary, making it difficult to dose the exact level of active chlorine

Protection of persons / precautions for use
Irritant to eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Respiratory protection: Avoid inhalation of dust. Hand protection: Wear protective clothing and rubber gloves. Eye protection: Wear goggles and a protective mask.
