DS-30 APPLICATION
1. Cleaning of entire water systems, including hot and drinking water; with water heaters (boilers), flow heaters, heat exchangers, heaters and pipes, etc.
2. Cleaning with cleaning pump of water systems, air-conditioning systems, cooling systems, industrial systems (injection moulding machines, generators).
3. Cleaning of other devices and components e.g. removed from the system - heat exchangers, heaters, valves, etc., washing machines, dishwashers and sanitary appliances, Cleaning is done by immersion in the solution or by pouring it in.
ATTENTION; For cleaning of central heating systems use FERDOM products: e.g. SUPER-DS, for solar systems DS-SOLAR. Do not use DS-30 with: corroded alumInium, acrylic (e.g. bathtubs), enamelled metals (bathtubs, sinks). Clean chrome parts in a short time.

PREPARATION OF THE PREPARATION
Work in attire, gloves and protective goggles. Dissolve the preparation in a plastic vessel in warm water (min 50stC max 80stC). When dissolving the scale, CO2 is released, which can cause foaming. It is necessary to keep a space for the emerging foam to avoid overflow. A change in colour from red to greyish (or indicated on a separate label) indicates that the effect of DS-30 is diminishing. Cleaning interval: a) until activity is lost = colour change of the preparation, b) for larger installations e.g. hot water, 4 to 8 hours. Repeat the process if there are large quantities of deposits. After cleaning, rinse the system/appliance thoroughly with water so that all traces of acid are removed (odour and taste).

Switch off the boiler (heater), close the feedwater valve. Open the taps and drain the water from the system and from the heater (boiler). Only about 20 litres can be drained from the heater. Close the taps. If it is not possible to pour the preparation directly into the heater, 'cut in' to the system and introduce the preparation using, for example, a hose and funnel. Pour a solution of 1kg per 10L of water (see solution preparation) into the system so that most of it enters the heater. Open the feed water valve . Turn on the heating of the water in the tank to 50-60st C. Cleaning process min. 4 hrs. max. 8 hrs. Every approx. 15 min. turn off each tap draining approx. 0.5 litres of water into a plastic container (pour into drains). Do not allow contact with acrylic and enamel surfaces of baths and sinks. After the cleaning process, switch off the boiler/heater, drain the DHW system and flush it several times until the characteristic smell and taste disappears. The method of draining the system/tank depends on the type of appliance/installation. If biological contamination has occurred in the system, use FERDOM BRIT-STER tablets.
Disposal
DS-30 is processed biologically. Used, inactive preparation can be poured into the sewage system.

Note: Use only with boilers with a water load of up to 200 ^litres/dm3. Cleaning time a few hours.
Boilers with a higher load should be cleaned with DS-50 "FERPRO"^® when cleaning the entire system. Cleaning time is 2-7 days.
Plate heat exchangers (depending on their size) can be cleaned like boiler heat exchangers or, after removing them from the installation, they can be immersed in the dissolved preparation.
Disposal:
DS-30 "FERDOM" ^® is biologically processed and therefore environmentally friendly. The used preparation can be poured down the drain.
Storage:
Do not store in frost. For safety data please refer to the safety data sheet.
Caution: Always treat central heating systems with a corrosion inhibitor after cleaning.
