REKO-FIX "FERDOM" 9x1 L. Silencing / Regenerating Preparation for CH Boilers.

Dissolves sludge, corrosion products from the boiler, creating a pH-neutral water supply. No sludge means quieter boiler operation, fewer breakdowns. It stays in the system after use.

REKO- FIX "FERDOM"^® BOILER REGENERATOR C. O. 1,5%,

- Removes corrosion products and scale deposits from the heat exchanger preventing its failure. Added to the central heating system water charge without having to disconnect the boiler. The regeneration (cleaning) process takes place during normal central heating operation for approximately 2-3 weeks.

- Removes knocks and noises generated in the installation.

- Acid-free formulation, does not need to be removed from the installation after cleaning.

- Full boiler efficiency equals reduced costs and no breakdowns. -1 litre per 65-70 litres of water in the system (approximately ^130m2 of house area). 1,5%.

APPLICATION: REKO-FIX "FERDOM^"® eliminates problems related to the noisy operation of the system (bubbling, crackling, metallic noises, etc.) caused by scale deposits inside the boiler heat exchanger (calcium and magnesium carbonates).

These deposits have a different thermal expansion than the heat exchanger metal which causes them to continually crack allowing water to come into contact with the overheated metal surface. This can cause steam formation and the typical bubbling noise. Loud boiler operation also indicates other problems. Sludge can cause the boiler to overheat and possibly fail. Sludge, which is an excellent thermal insulator, causes a reduction in the thermal conductivity between the burner and the water in the central heating system. This significantly increases the operating costs of the system. Losses can be up to 20%.

DOSAGE: The recommended concentration of the preparation is 1.5% (proportions are not critical). As a guideline, in modern construction with pump central heating systems with aluminium or steel radiators, the power requirement for an area of e.g. 120-130m2 is approx. 10kW, which corresponds to 60-70l of water in the system. Older installations - cast iron radiators, steel pipes - double the dosage.

STORAGE, STORAGE: Inert solution of organic phosphates and sulphonated polymers. Protect from frost and high temperatures.

APPLICATION: REKO-FIX "FERDOM^"® can be used in open systems (a), and pressurised systems (b).

a)Drain part of the water from the system, pour REKO-FIX "FERDOM^"® into the expansion vessel, and make up the shortage of water.

b) Pressure system. Find a place in the system that can be isolated with two valves, e.g. radiator, boiler. Close the valves, drain the water (from the radiator and the boiler), pour in the REKO-FIX "FERDOM^"® (in the radiator e.g. unscrew the drain plug and pour in the preparation e.g. with a funnel).

SAFETY MEASURES: The product is not toxic, but like other chemicals needs to be handled with care and kept out of reach of children. Beware of accidental ingestion. In case of contact with eyes or skin, flush immediately with plenty of water. If symptoms persist, contact a doctor. The product does not contain harmful ingredients requiring notification in accordance with Directive 88/379/EEC.
